#1. Right now I am in the AOS process. Received my temporary card beginning of November and have heard nothing since.... My first question is whether or not this is normal and if I have a right in being a little frustrated/worried.
#2. My fiance and I planned on getting married last year. He is a non US citizen and residing out of the country. However it was interrupted by the filing date suddenly coming up after having taken 6 years.After an additional delay related to immigration I am at my wits end. I do not want to delay the marriage any longer but I wonder if getting married would cause some complication or give another reason for more delay towards an answer for the green card. Also... for specific and private reasons I would like to ask what the chances would be of family members applying alongside me in finding out about the marriage. And no it is not going to be a secret marriage (everyone knows we are engaged) Just we would like to keep it between us until the green card situation is cleared up. So please no unnecessary comments towards this.
Again I have my reasons.
