Hi Everyone.
I am almost at the end of the AOS process. I have received my Social Security and am just waiting for the interview, all of which was subject to a legitimate spontaneous marriage 6 months ago. However, unfortunately the marriage isn't working.
My question is, how can I cut ties at this point and leave. Me and any spouse have discussed the idea of a divorce as it seems 6 months down the line that we are set for different paths, we have tried to work on it the last month or so, but with no success. With constant bickering and fighting we have decided that its best we no longer stay together.
I have no reason to stay in the US other than the marriage. So do I get a divorce now and leave immediately?
Do i have to stay for the full divorce proceedings? Or can I leave and get the divorce done once home in the UK?
Will a divorce effect future entries to the US when I come on vacation?
