Third Finger Print in 3 Months - Urgent Suggestions Pls

Hello Gurus,
I and my Wife applied for I-485 in NBC on 09-Feb-04. We got our First Finger print done on 05-May-04. We had our second Finger Print done on 05-Aug-05, that is 3 Months back. Now, Y'day, I received another Finger print appointment notice appointment on 12-Nov-05. Has this happened to anyone in the past?.
The problem for me now is that my wife is back in India with our new born child. Any suggestions about what would happen if we request for a rescheduling of our finger print appointment. or Can I do the fingerprint and reschedule my wife's. If I reschedule will it affect the I-485 processing time?
Any suggestions and experience would be greatly appreceiated.

That means that previous fingerprints were not collected properly.

She should not reschedule the appointment as it may delay her case a lot.

Best thing is that she returns from India and attend the appointment.
