How should i reply to the request for evidence letter?

I have concurrently filed (I-485, I-130 and I-765) an adjustment of status for my wife. I have sufficient income for 2012-2011 but I have been unemployed for 2013 and because I don't have tax filing for 2013, my sponsorship is not qualified. I received a Request for Initial Evidence letter from the USCIS and they are either asking for sufficient filing for 2013 from me as the petitioner or adding a joint sponsor. I already found a joint sponsor for my case. Am I still required to submit my tax filings for 2011,2012 and 2013 including the sponsor's documents or Can I only send the joint sponsor's papers as a reply to the RFE? You need to respond to the "Request for Evidence" with a signed and dated statement explaining why you were not required to submit an income tax return for 2013. Submitting copies of 2011 and 2012 tax returns serves no purpose and was not requested of you You must also submit an I-864, Affidavit of Support, form a qualified joint sponsor, with 2013 W2 and/or 1099 forms, proof of employment, and proof of the joint sponsor's U.S. legal status (U.S. birth cert or passport ID page copy or Green Card copy).
