File I-485 Using I-130 Receipt

A few weeks ago my husband, a US citizen, mailed a completed I-130 along with completed documents. We have received a receipt and would like to move forward with adjusting my status in the U.S. since I am present.

Is there a way I could go about doing it since we did not file concurrently? Can I use the receipt or any other way?

Yes, you can use the Receipt Notice of Action (form I-797) to be included with your I-485 submittal.
