I(US citizen) just got married last month, and want to apply green card for my husband and stepdaughter. But my husband is not in the US and my stepdaughter is studying as a student in the US. My question is, Can I apply the green cards for them seperatly(stepdaughter goes through the concurrent filing, and my husband goes through consular processing)?

The answer is a "yes," but with a caveat. How old is the stepdaughter? If she had turned 18 before you married to her father, you cannot petition her.

Thank you! She is 17, will be 18 at the end of this year, so yes, I and her father got married before she turns 18. So I think I should able to petition her.
