I am a secondary applicant on an approved asylum case. I submitted the I485 along with my spouse. I received a RFE stating that my address outside the United States of more than 1 year is partially complete. I had filled in everything including the city, State, Country and time (from and to) of residence. The part where it said street name and number I stated N/A because I don't have an accurate street name and address where I resided in my country. How would I respond to the RFE? Anybody have an idea please help me !!!

On which form was the address incomplete? Was it the G-325A? If so, get an address to provide with a new G-325A. At the very least, approximate the address, but do not say that "such and such" is your address of more than one year, then put "N/A."

You must redo the form and print a description of the location. You can't just put "N/A." If your wife's form was accepted, with the same entry, count her lucky. But you have the RFE for which an acceptable response is needed, not her. If you received an RFE for "N/A," putting "N/A" again, even if you add data, is asking for a rejection of your response.

Originally posted by metro56 View PostThank you for your response. It is the form G325 A. I have filled out all the areas of the section "address of more than one year" but I am not able to get the street name and number because my country has a very poor postal system and don't have official street names and address. Areas are mostly recognized by landmarks. Even the US embassy does not have a street name and number. Do you think I can put N/A and explain with a statement. My wife filled N/A for street name and number on her G325 A like I did but she did not receive a RFE. Really confused
