    Hi all,

Today I received RFE for the following:

    1. Joint sponsor on I-864 proof of US citizen.
    2. Must submit complete Federal income tax return submitted to the IRS.
    3. Submit all supporting tax documentation (w-2, 1099s, form 2555 and all schedules)

    So my questions are:

    1. My joint sponsored immigrated during the 40s and was naturalized, I did submit a copy of that proof but apparently it was not enough. Will a copy of Biographical page of unexpired US passport do it?
    2. My joint sponsor works as a private contractor (doctor) so he doesn't receive any w-2, since he is self employed. Nor does he have any 1099. I submitted all papers I got from his tax-guy. If we call IRS and have them fax IRS transcript from 2013 will that do it?
    3. Will documents from 2 be enough for this?

    Thank you,
    -Dave

    1. A copy of your joint sponsor's Naturalization Cert or ID page of U.S. passport.
    2. An IRS transcript of the co-sponsor will suffice. You co-sponsor can download his 2013 transacript from: http://www.irs.gov/Individuals/Get-Transcript in about 10 minutes.
    3. If he is self-employed, his income source must be supported with bank statements for several months, proving cash flow.
