Just got back from the INTERVIEW

Hey guys, I've literally just got back from my adjustment of status marriage interview with my partner.

It went well, the interviewer, who was a women, was a little miserable.

I watched her tick all of the paperwork in front of her and we were in and out within 15 minutes.

At the end, my US spouse joke 'is that it?' and she replied, 'well i could separate you and interrogate you if you like' (all in a light hearted manner)

she then said, thank you and we will be in contact if we need anything else....

that was it....

I never got a stamp in my passport for a temporary green card.....

so what happens now? Is that a normal scenario?

I was hoping to pop back to the uk next week to see some friends and family,

what are the chances I will be able to? will I receive card by then?

or will I go and get a stamp in passport? Im so confused

Congratulations...if all is well in a week or 2 u should receive your welcome letter and GC. Seems Like they hardly stamp passport....That's the trend I'm seeing.

I just checked on the USCIS tracker and its been approved already to CARD/DOCUMENT PRODUCTION

which is great news.

It says the green card will take up to 30 days, will I be able to leave the country on the 14th of this month?

What will happen if I leave before green card arrives?
