RFE for 485

Hi,

I got an RFE for my I-485 asking for evidence that I will stay in my field of specialization as mentioned in my approved I-140 application. Evidence could include current employment letter, recent publications etc. Has anyone got similar RFEs? What might be the success rate in approval after responding to such an RFE with the requested letter of employment and recent pubs? Is there any other document I could provide to strengthen my case?

Do u have recent publications and employment letter? That should b strong enough. I hope some one will respond, who have experienced, same.good luck.

Thanks MaryH. I do have a couple of publications and can get a letter from employer. However, I am also on medical leave. I don't know how USCIS would treat my case since I am not currently working but just on medical leave. Any thoughts/experiences would help.

I have no experience, but my thoughts r, it's great that u have several publications and would b able to get a job letter. I'm not sure whether it's important to say u r on health vacation. Personally, I don't think's necessary to bring up. It's everyone's entitlement. Good luck!!
