Hi everyone,
I just recently got married to a US citizen. I am now 23 weeks pregnant. My husband and I are preparing forms for my green card. My I-20 will expire on December 31st, 2014. The school advisor said that I should extend my i-20 to maintain my status while waiting for my case to be approved. However, my due date is January 6th, 2015. As an F1 student, I have to register 12 credit hours (atleast 9 credit hours on campus). I dont' think I can continue to go to school right after my daughter is born. My question is "Do I have to go to school after I give birth even when my case is being processed?"
