Hi,
I am about to get married to an US citizen. But I wonder if it will be approved by the immigration if I apply with the I-485 form. My situation is:
I came in the US as a student under F-1 Visa 4 years ago. I have applied for OPT accepted by the school but has been denied by USCIS. I have received a Social Security Number when applying for the OPT. So with that number I did work and pay my taxes since two years already. Also, I am out of status for about 6 months.
So I wonder with my "out of status" and have been working for 2 years, my I-485 will be denied or not.
