Whether or not to file separate I-485 from my wife
Hi,
My wife and I are both in the US on separate H1-B visas.
My wife is about to put in her I-140 application (EB-2 NIW) with myself as a dependent on it. We are also hoping to concurrently file the I-485.
However, what we want to verify is that, since I will be a dependent on the I-140 (as opposed to filing my own I-140 and adjusting from that), that we won't need to file a separate I-485 for myself and just include my name in Section 3B of the concurrently filed I-485.
Hopefully someone will alleviate the fears that my wallet has!
