hi, i want to share my horrible experience and ask for some advise...
i applied for adjust status on april 3 2013, i got my first interview on june 18 2013, it didn't go well... i forgot to bring the joint rental lease to the interview... the officer told us we need to send him more documents shows that we live together and he asked my wife that he wants to see a joint car registration... and send him in 87 days... than we made everything ready and sent him and i got a letter from santa ana california office says we have an interview on july 19 2013... we made it on time after waited 3 hours, finally it was our turn... same officer again but this time he took me first, after 1.5 hours questions, he wrote my answers and printed out and got my initials... than same thing for my wife, but all the answers matches... and after her interview, my wife asked the officer whats the next step? he said he ll let us know, its been 14 months after my second interview and no decision... we've tried to request information like 5 times no information, we made info pass twice, no decision... i need some advise, what can i do ? or is there someone waited this long ? I'm sure I'm not the only one having this horrible experience... thanks

I've worked with a couple of Adjustment packages that seemed to get delayed about as long as you have experienced so far, and eventually got approved.

But the 14 months since your last interview is nonsense and inexcusable. You need to enlist the assistance of a Congressional office to make a formal inquiry about why your Green Card has not been issued, since you have complied with every request made by the interviewer.
