  • I need your help

Am married to a US citizen, and am about to apply for my I-130 and I-485 concurrently, my wife has been working but she never file her tax returns for 2012 and 2013, all I have is her W2 forms. Will that be a problem?

Yes, it will be a problem. File the 2013 tax return, using her W2's, so that you won't receive a Request for Evidence and have your processing held up until she provides a copy of the most recent tax year tax return.

Leave it blank. That's your Alien number! You would know if you had one!
They'll assign you one once they accept your documents. It'll be in your Receipt Notice!
