The website says: "we mailed you a notice that we had registered this customer's new permanent resident status" and "Your new permanent resident card should be mailed within 60 days following this registration".

My employer sponsored my employment based AOS (multinational manager) but I've been offered a new job and am keen to move on as soon as possible. I have a couple of questions:

    1. Am I now able to leave my job and start employment elsewhere? Or do I need to wait for the permanent resident card to be mailed to me?
    2. If I was to leave my job, is there any way that my current employer could stop the AOS or has it gone past the point of no return? (I'm not sure they'd actually do this but am being cautious as I'll go and work for a competitor)

Any other thoughts? Is it too early for me to change jobs?
