Hello my husband And I payed a lawyer to file our papers he only
Filed the I 130 itwas approved by the nvc. My husband had filed this petition while he was a green card holder ... And is now a citizen .. However the lawyer recieved a package with all the other forms I was suppose to fill out but he never did it .. Nor did he tell me that he received it... However he secretary adice me to send it into the Chicago po box with all the forms I was suppose to send and she said it will be okay .. The form I filed was i485 and i765 do you think they will deny it ?

If you send the I-485 and supporting documents to the Chicago dropbox, with the $1,070 fee, and sponsorship documents, and copy of I-130 approval Notice of Action, and the forms are filled out properly, it should not be denied.

If you paid an attorney to assist with getting your husband his Green Card, and all the attorney did was submit the I-130, something is not right with his level of service.
