  • I485 rfe vs i765

Hi everybody I'm new in this forum.
I recently got married and send all the required documentation to USCIS.
On September 2nd they receive all my stuff And after 2 weeks they sent me 3 different notice of action I-130 I-131 and I-765.
On September 5th I Received the biometric appointment.
September 23rd I went to the biometric appointment...
The same day I went home and check the status in the USCIS website and I noticed that the I-485 it went from initial Review to request for evidence...
October 10th I received the RFE letter and on November 2nd I sent the required documentation they I missed.
Now my question is would this affect the time to receive my work permit?
I'm scared because there is a big job opportunity waiting for me in January and I don't really now what is going to be the wait.
If someone had the same experience please let me know.

    Thank you very much!

A Request for Evidence to which you respond fairly quickly probably delays issuance of your Work Authorization by about two weeks.

Yes, it will have an effect on it. It's like the 90 days wheel starts over, from the time (date) they received the RFE.

I don't believe the Food Stamps benefit will have any effect on your wife's sponsorship of you or of your Green Card processing.
