Background Check...

It was interesting to note on this site that the FBI background check is completed in 3-4 weeks. I had my prints taken last December, completed my AOS last month...but I am still awaiting approval because of my background check being delayed. I have been wating over seven months now...and the USCIS - in Indianapolis - have indicated that there is no way of telling how much longer the process will take to run.

Background check

I'm also still waiting for my background check, I had my fingerprints taken in october 2003. I saw an immigration lawyer today and she told they were now running the background check twice!.
