Parent's I-485 non availability of birth record
Hello,
My father doesn't have a birth certificate, born in the 40s. We have filed for I-130 and I-485 concurrently in May 2014. The current date for his application is expected to be in mid Jan 2015 based.
We got an Affidavit of non-availability of birth record from the Nagar Nigam (municipality) in Hindi though. Would it suffice to send along with the document, a self attested (by father) notarized translation in English?
