i am confused and looking for some answers, we are family of 7 we applied all together on May 5, 2014 and we all did the bio metrics on June 18, 2014 , admission based on refuge status more than a year ago
on November 8 there was an update for my mom and dad and one week after they got their green card , but nothing has changed for me and my sisters , case status online say that case has been received and that's its, one week ago i submitted a service request and i got an answer saying that my case did not finish all security checks yet and they can not give me a time for when it will be finish , our office is Baltimore USCIS website say they are processing cases received in May 1st , we submitted in May 5th and as i mentioned my parents already got their cards , what could possibly be going on ?
now my questions is i have a trip to Europe on 1st week of January 2015 , i made all the trip plans , cause when i applied in May they told me the processing time is 6 months , so i thought before January i will be done , now what can i do ? since there is no time of applying for travel document or AP they take time , and pleasure trip is not considered an emergency
what are the risks of travelling and when my green card arrive by mail my parents mail it to me to Europe ? Is this too risky or what ?
