  • need advice!! :(

    Hello,
Jan 1st marks one year since me and my wife(us citizen) been married. I recently applied for adjustment of status(i-485) . I recently got a yellow mail from USCIS asking for more evidence.
One of the few things they are asking is evidence of employment from the sponsor (sponsor being my wife).
Now from the time we filed the application and now she has changed her job.. She got a new job and not the one mentioned on the affidavit of support.

    Heres my question?

Does she have to supply a new affidavit of support?(i-8something)
Or I can just send them the letters from her job without them!??

Any kind of help would be really appreciated!

    Thanks..

Whether you send just the evidence of new employment or a new I-864 package depends on how your original I-864 was completed, whether it showed employment or not (even if different employer).

Also, how you respond is driven by what you were asked to provide in response to USCIS.

Scan and show the evidence request page from USCIS and it will be easier to give you a clear rresponse.

australian international student wants to apply for f1

Hello friends, I an international student in Australia pursuing masters 2nd semester. Now, I would like to do my masters in USA and lodge my visa interview here.what are the problems I'm going to face during my process and what is the success rate.do I need to go to my home country to apply?

If you can give me any contacts that can help me while processing that would be very thankful.
      Please give me up suggestions.

I am sorry to say this but I literally have no clue about applying from a foreign country.

You might be able to get more help if you create a new thread instead of posting your questions in this thread! And to the related field!

            Rtamang,

Based on the wording of the RFE citation you scanned, it seems that there was insufficient evidence of your wife's employment and income.

Do a new I-864 and include an employment verification letter and a few recent paystubs, along with a copy of the 2013 Federal income tax return and W2's for year 2013.
