You cannot be interviewed for Adjustment of Status outside of the U.S. If you don't show for your Adjustment interview, your application will be considered abandoned, unless you succeed in being rescheduled. If you do not have an Advance Parole to reenter the U.S. while Adjustment is in process, you may have a problem reentering.

My advice is to be here for the interview date that is scheduled.

I would like to thank you all for your continued support. I successfully submitted my documents and I have received a mail from immigration department to appear for my I-485 application Interview in Feb. The problem is, I will be out of country during that time. Is it possible to reschedule this Interview because of my travel? Or better reschedule this interview in my home country? Appreciate your kind input. Thank you

I suggest u shouldn't miss this opportunity. Wedding can be postpone hence u are not in ur country for now. Moreover the refreshment has not been cook, lol. Get thru with the interview first before traveling out of country, cos any thing might happen. USCIS may change their mind on ur case, cos u can't dictate for them...be wise!!!
