i485 interview criteria

Hello everyone
My I 140 and 485 is with USCIS and I just applied in December. I applied under EB2 National Interest Waiver through my pHd. I have no children and its for me and my spouse. I am wondering since I am already in USA and if everything goes through well is the interview an absloute requirement or not?
Any experiences you have had or any information is very much appreciated.

First They are look about 3 thinks. 1. age if u guys 10 years different or more (spically if the woman older)
2.diffrent color/realign 3.crminal record It not main you not gonna pass if one of them right it just look different for them

I think the original poster is applying based on an entirely different basis (EB2, National Interest Waiver), rather than family relationship.

I think your "red flag" issues below (age, color, criminal record) missed the mark completely for this thread.
