  • Question about filling Greencard

    Hello
My husband is U.S citizen and I am as visitor in USA (B1/B2 visa). We got married in December 2014. My visa is valid from 2012 till 2022 ( for 10 years). But my I-94 form expired 8 months ago. we are going to fill following forms:
    I-130
    I-485
    I-765
    I-864
    I-693
    G325A for my spouse
    G325A for me
    G-1145

If anybody knows that I need anything else PLEASE let me know. And one more question Is it gonna be any problem that my I-94 is expired????? But my visa is still valid>>>
    Thanks

    Teona,

You should add form I-131 to your repertoire of forms, as well as all supporting docs and evidence.

Your allowable visit, as reported on your I-94, being expired shouldn't be a problem.

The expiration date on your visa has no relevancy to this process.

Thank you very much for your answer. I really appreciate it. Even if I am not gonna travel outside for a long time(may be just 3 or 4 weeks) Do I have to fill the I-131 form???? Thanks again

It only takes 5 minutes to complete it and you are paying for it anyway. Plus, no one is immune from unexpected family emergencies which may force you to leave the U.S. in a hurry.
