I-864 questions? Need help from kind people!

My wife is completely a US citizen, and we have married for 9 months. We submitted several forms and got I797 (notice of action). We are about to submit I864, I485 and I693 for the interview. I have couple questions about I864. Please help me out:

My friend is going to be our only joint sponsor. (no one else) Will he have to sponsor for me and my wife or just only me? if include my wife, how should we fill the form (specially part 3 and 5)?
