interview scheduling time

Hi friends!

I sent my AOS package on november 17th. Biometrics done on december 16th. On december 23rd, online status change to "ready for interview scheluding" and that "I should receive a letter for the interview when scheduled". I am in Miami and my case has been processing by the NBC(MSC). How long it can take for the interview to be scheduled since I don't receive anything yet? Do you think I should call them? Thx in advance for your advices!

I'm not an expert or this but based on what I have read on USCIS site pertaining to form I-765 Employment Authorization you can file an enquiry 75 day after uscis receives this form. Below is the detail I saw on the site.


Important Information About Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization
You can now submit inquiries about the status of your Form I-765 after your case has been pending more than 75 days.

Atleast if this is true and you get your work permit one will be able to may some money while waiting for the process to be completed.

The interviews we are waiting for are for i-485 permanent residence (green card) not i-765 (work authorization); I received my work authorization card already.

I received my work authorization too on Feb 2nd. I am still waiting for the I-485 interview.

I know it's hard but just hang in there. "A pot watched never boils." The more you check the longer it will seem to take. We applied in July 2014 and received an interview notice in October, but the interview wasn't scheduled until December 2014. We went to the interview only to be told that it was canceled because they did not have the file yet. We were rescheduled for another interview a few weeks later and finally got one done at the end of January 2015 and received his green card a week later! Hang in there. A lot depends on how busy the immigration office in your district is.

I received my work authorization too on Feb 2nd. I am still waiting for the I-485 interview.

I came to US by F1 visa and I am waiting for my interview for green card. My case said they are scheduling my interview since 22nd December 2014 But I didn't recieve anything yet. Now 23rd Feb 2015. I wonder that I can apply for work permit or not because I already out of student status. My husband said that I cannot apply for work permit and I have to wait. please help me.
