When did u file ur AOS? I filed mine as at Nov 12, and I gotten my date for interview I live in New York too

I sent my package August 29 and they received sep 29( priority date) I received my interview letter after 6 months.

I received my interview letter yesterday (4/6) for 5/5/15 in the M***aukee office. I originally filed on 2/19/15. Process seems to be moving fast (although EAD is still in the initial review)

I had my interview on May 6 and I was approved at the spot .
I received my green card 1 week after the interview!

Question about I485 form!

Hi All,

I am new here, and I thought I will get better help/guide from the experience or who knows about the immigration process.

Well, my wife (who is an US citizen by birth) has already filed I130 petition 5 months back. It is still in procession, today I come across to I485 and NVC process, where it is mentioned that "If I am in US (legally) then and i am IR of US Citizen then I can apply for I485". Or else once i130 is approved I can opt out of NVC and choose to go with i485.
My question is, I am currently abroad country (not in US). May I enter US using visitor visa and concurrently my wife files i485 file for me?so that I can do all processing in US and can stay with my wife.? Let me know if it is possible.

If you can enter the U.S., you can proceed with I-485 processing. But when trying to enter the U.S with a B2 visa and asked if you have a pending petition, the officer can make the determination that you are using the visitor visa to circumvent normal immigration requirements and bar entry.

Im still waiting since Nov. 24th and no interview notice yet. It's taking so long I was starting to get worried but was told by USCIS that there is nothing wrong with my case its just delays...Also did you have your interview in Manhattan or the Holstville in Long Island ?

do you think I will have an enterview as well as you guys since I have been granted derivative asilee but never had an enterview?????
If so what would be this about ??????
Would be the same as you guys about if the marriage is real ???????

They're taking so long, Manhattan office is 1.5 month ahead of them with cases. I was hoping to have my GC before the end of August so that I could attend my brother-in-laws wedding with my husband. I guess that's not going to happen.

Nobody can tell you with any certainty whether you will have an Adjustment of Status interview or not. Scheduling interviews or waiving interviews is based on workload and how good your package looks to reviewers.

I got scheduled for an interview finally!! I'm going in on September 10th. Any news with you ? I'll let you know how the interview goes. Also, I was at the Long Island office yesterday with an infopass, the officer told me that currently they are doing end of November/beginning of December so you should be hearing not too long from now. Good luck!
