Hello and thank you for your help in advanced.
My wife earned a H-1B visa through her employer prior to our marriage -- I am a US citizen. She received the visa approval and we made plans to travel to Taiwan to retrieve her actual H-1B visa. Shortly after we purchased our plane tickets, we learned that when we married, her visa became moot. We married 147 days ago and I am also now learning that we should have applied for the green card within 90 days of marriage.
Her employment is still secure, but we are struggling to find step-by-step instructions for our case to obtain a green card and so may just need to hire an attorney. We have already completed the I-485 and I-130, but I cannot seem to find a list of any other materials that we will need or where we actually need to send them.
Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.
