I am about to send my papers for Adjustment f status and I am protected by the 245(I), my father is just a legal permanent resident. My question is, can I put the mother of my children in the paperwork? We have not got married, because they told me that I would lose everything if i got married, since my dad is just a LPR. Can someone help me?

No, your Permanent Resident dad, cannot file for your children's Mom and, if you were married, your dad could not be able to file for u as a Permanent Resident. On the other hand, if he wad a citizen, he could b able to file for u both, if you were married. Therefore, you could either get married and wait until your dad become a citizen OR have your dad file for you solo, as a Permanent Resident.
