2 Weeks after Interview for Green Card

Lawyers for these cases are not so good my lawyer sent in papers I had filled out and I did all the foot work as well. Said they would help with embassy stuff and I got none they didn't know anything about the embassy's was going to. I suggest one that has done your same case and country before because they can only do the same thing we do wait and not be clear on anything

To be honest I don't know where to begone as I don't know where and how to reach the officer who called
And info pAss would not give any information

our case is on hold too ((

Well, seems I am in the same boat with you guys.. We had our AOS interview in Houston on Feb 23 and got a notice after the interview that our case is being held for review
Okay so I'm gonna share our interview details. We arrived to the office little earlier and had to go through security check. The guards asked me to open my purse and they looked for something metallic. Apparently I had with me tweezers and mini screw drivers and I was asked to leave them in the car. So after dealing with the guards who were very polite and in good mood despite the nasty weather, we proceeded to the waiting hall. There were just few more people and it seemed like all of them had a lawyer with them It didn't embrace us at all ))
Anyways, we were called out at scheduled time so we didn't have to wait forever like some people said. Our interviewer was very nice and quite comforting during the interview. She asked us just several questions such as when and how we met, went through our some paperwork questionnaire real quick, looked at all pictures we applied and brought with us, asked lil more about my husband's daughter and wrote down her name, wanted to see proof of living together and asked for the new W2s for 2014 which we handed to her along with last 2 months paystubs and a letter from the Employer.. And that's it! We have prepared ourselves for more questions and didn't expect her being curious about his daughter but she was! And also she asked if I keep in touch with her and if my husband talks to my family. So she obviously wanted to make sure that we are really married))
At the end of the interview she literally said: "Good, good. Well, everything looks fine". And handed us a notice that our case is being held for review!! Arghhh! Now we just have to wait and pray that everything is gonna be fine. we just can't afford another petition or lawyer's service ((( It's so frustrating to realize that young and poor families such ours go through some ridiculous reviews and checks just because we might not have bunch of financial evidence of living together. Practically all we have provided for our case were - joint bank account information, older insurance papers, a bill of sale for my "new" used car which we purchased the very same day, our photos, and that's all...

Overall, I would recommend to try to relax and and listen to questions carefully, not to interrupt and answer the questions fully, honestly, not too short, not too much. I was kinda stressed out more than my husband. I couldn't talk that much, and probably looked nervous and suspicious, lol .. that's what my dear hubby said.. Well, good for him because I was the one who have prepared all paperwork and have read hundreds of threads, and more than likely who knows more that one is more stressed out, lol

Anyway I wish everyone good luck and thanks for sharing your experience and news! Hopefully We all get through this immigration process as soon as possible!
