My wife and I have a question about unemployment. She is my sponser (american citizen) and we live in the USA with now kids and a very straight forward case. We have sent in our application and I have had my biometrics done. This past week my wife was laid off from her work and in the downtime between getting a new job, we were curious if it is allowed or if its a bad idea for her to apply for unemployment? Would this look bad on our case?
