Hi guys, I'm new here and despite my search I couldn't find a separate section for 1-130 information. I'm hoping that someone can help me. My husband and I filed an 1-130 in October of 2014. In late November, we received notice that the case was transferred to the local office. I expected this because my husband is in removal proceedings and we got married after he was detained. Anyway, I was just wondering how long it typically takes to schedule an interview? We live in NYC. I've read timelines being from 2-3 months.. we are in that range and haven't heard anything yet. Also, I know that these interviews are typically done with the husband and wife separated, but I've also read that sometimes its only the petitioner that is interviewed. Has anyone had experience with this? I would appreciate anyones input!
