Vaccination Requirements - Confused!!

Hey guys,

My name is Alicia and I am a 25 years old female from France. I am more than confused about which vaccines I need to get.

The USCIS website (http://www.uscis.gov/news/questions-...n-requirements) says that the following vaccines are required:

Mumps
Measles
Rubella
Polio
Tet**** and Diphtheria Toxoids
Pertussis
Haemophilus influenzae type B
Hepatitis B
Any other vaccine-preventable diseases recommended by the Advisory Committee for Immunization Practices

But if I look at the CDC website (http://www.cdc.gov/immigrantrefugeeh...ation-faq.html) for my age, I only need to do:

- Tdap (Tet****, Diphtheria, Pertussis)
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella)
- Varicella
- Influenza

Which ones do I truly need?

Also, on the I-693 (Report for Medical Examination), it says that I need to have the TB and Syphilis tests done. Is that required? Does the immigration doctor has to be the one doing these tests?

I know that's a lot of questions but I am truly confused. I do not want to get more vaccines than I need... I hate needles.... :/

The choice of vaccines will depend on judgment of the doctor who gives you the immigrant medical exam, based on your age, medical condition and proof of prior vaccinations.

TB and Syphillis tests are mandatory.

Thank you very much for the quick replies. The last vaccine I ever gotten was in 1998 so I'm that they are no longer good.

I was told that vaccines that were not done in the US did not count.

I didn't have my vacination record with me but I knew I am fully vaccinated which my last vaccination was from 1996 or 97 andi am from Jamaica but when I went to the Uscis civil Doctor which I found on uscis site; I explain my concern and did the t-dap which they withdrew my blood and tested for everything and I didn't have to get any shots cause they found all they needed in my blood sample.

All they did after that is simple they gave me a Tb shot which made me having to return in 2-day to check if the spot that I got my shot rised so it didn't and right there and then they completed my paper works and handed it over to me.
