Hi !
Background : first application sent Aug 26th 2014, got a request for evidence Oct 9th, got the denial notice Jan 22nd 2015 (for not enough evidence of financial support from my husband the petitioner on his AG income of the last 3 years).
Now we are refiling everything with a joint sponsor (self employed financial advisor, makes 100 K/ year)
The lawyer said we have to make it as simple and clear as possible and avoid unnecessary information.
Questions :
- I have his and my husband's tax return of 2013. We're in February now. Will it be good enough or will USCIS want the 2014 ?
- Is it better to provide the last 3 tax returns instead of the latest (very low because of travels) for my husband even if he doesn't meet the required income ?
- Is it necessary to write the little assets my husband has in shares (4,000$) if we need a sponsor anyway to meet the required income ?
- on my I 131, advance parole, do I need to give evidence of why I want to travel ? Or is it not required for adj of status applicants ?
- My medical exam was done May 27th 2014 for my fiancé visa. They kept the sealed envelop at the customs but I have the receipt. Can you confirm that it is valid for one year and that I don't have to re take it ?
