Adjustment of status

Thanks for helping me out the other time I ran the red light your answer really work.
However I really need you to pls enlighten me more as am about to send my adjustment of status packet but while doing the i130 for alien relative and the i864 my wife just started work last year November after she complete her studies which means she didn't work for some time.and she didn't file tax for some years.
What do you think I do
And however my uncle has been making 40k annually for 3 consecutive year which I really wanna use him for the joint sponsor.
Your urgent help will be highly appreciated.

The petitioner (is your wife submitting the I-130 as petitioner?) is the primary sponsor with her own I-864, even if she lacks income and tax return history.

Uncle can be a co-sponsor with his own I-864 and most recent tax year of of income tax return and employment proof.

I485&i765

Hi Ray B
Do you think its necessary to write my I94 number at the back of my check am gonna submitted.
Because someone said its neccesary am confused pls.

The memo part of your check, on the front, should have a primary name of petitioner or beneficiary, along with a form number (I-130 or I-485, etc.).

Nobody wants to see the I-94 number when cashiering check.

I-130 rejection

Hello, We recently filed forms I-130 and I-485 concurrently as spouses. The entire packet was returned for the following reason. " The application you sent us is missing some pages"
"You can download a complete form from our website" Well I used the latest form I-130 which is only two pages long and both pages are present and complete.
Has anyone else experienced this? I have no idea what they want and I have reviewed the checklist over and over.

The i-130 is 2 pages and the I-485 is 6 pages. You should also have included forms G-325A for both, I-864. Without seeing the rejection pages and knowing what you submitted it's not possible to tell you what you did wrong and what you need to do to fix this.

Recreate your package with everything that you think should be included, then have a third party who has done this before recheck your work.

Doublecheck all signatures, dates and form pages (for completeness).

Without seeing the rejection notice and your complete package, it's impossible to say what was wrong, if anything.

system error

OK got hold of a clerk at immigration. He informed me that the system was having problems. It seems that after the forms are scanned a barcode is printed on each form, and then read later on.
It appears the barcode was not readable by the computer so it rejected. The clerk told me to resubmit a new I-130 to try again. We won't loose our place in line since a file has been created.
How crazy is that.

Pls I just need this piece if advice from you,I ordered some forms from the USCIS website and the forms I received has some BARCODE and I make some mistake with some which I have to reprint,
However I was surprise to see that the online forms doesn't have the barcode, is it ok if I print them like that or I need the one with barcode.

It depends on which form you are using and on whether your operating system and/or version of Adobe is compatible with the barcoded technology being used by USCIS.

Can you start by telling which form you are concerned about?

Some operating systems (Mac, Tablet) and some versions of Adobe PDF do not recognize or handle the barcodes. USCIS has been fairly tolerant of barcode absence from forms which do have barcode capability.

All the forms you list below, excepting the I-765, have barcode capability. The I-765 doesn't seem to have barcode technology included.

Please I wanna know , when a case update says; AED order to be produced and will be mail to ur address, how many days will it take for USCIS to produce the card before mailing to my address? Any one with similar experience in the house? I filed my form i-485 since Nov 12, did my biometric on Dec 8, they request for my initial evidence for form i-865,on Dec 15, I sent the request Dec 30, request another form i-865 from me on Feb 10, they receive my respond for i initial evidence on Feb 25, I requested for expedite on form i-765 on Mar 6th, then case update for form i-765 changed to order a new card is being produced on Mar 9th. they stress me cos I didn't use Immgrtn Attoney perhaps., please how long should I wait for the production before mailing to my address please????*USCIS office in charge of my case is MSC. Missouri less summit.

About two weeks from when you are told a new card is being produced. This has nothing to do with an immigration attorney, except that somewhere in the beginning you may have submitted forms which had errors.
