50 days after AOS interview, no update
My husband is US Citizen but he was married to his high school sweet heart and sponsored her GC back in 2005. They separated in 2011 and the divorce was finalized in March, 2012.
We got married in April 2014, sent the application in May 2014 and went to the interview in Jan 2015. The case was not approved on spot. Instead, we received the paper saying "Held for review". 50 days after AOS interview, still no update. My husband's sponsor history is definitely the reason that my case has been pending. I understand that a supervisor needs to review it but frankly speaking, I will be very disappointed that if USCIS asks me to come in for another interview. I have never been out of status and I am still on my H1B visa. Besides, we bought a house together in Jun 2014, 2 months after married, and we handed the settlement notice to the officer at the interview. If this is not sufficient, what else should I bring if there is a stoke interview.
Anyway, just wonder if anyone has been in my situation? Husband sponsored twice?
