Please help me. I am in US and entered legally on visitor visa and at POE(airport) when was asked about purpose of my visit, I said to meet a friend, now I want to marry her and do not wish to go back. Can we marry and apply for green card?
How can I prove them that I came here just on a holiday to visit her and I had no intent of marrying, and our marriage is legitimate and impulsive, I have my return ticket, and letter from my employer back in my home country stating I have come to US after taking a leave for a vacation. Will this evidence be enough? Will I be deported later and barred from coming back?
(What documents can we add up to prove that it was just a visit previously and later got into marriage and when I entered US I had all intentions of going back to my home country). I have heard that US citizen can marry a alien friend in US also and than she can go file for his AOS, at maximum you need to pay some fine.
Also she is few years elder to me and divorced too, is this of any significance?
We can hire a attorney if it can be of any help? Please advice
