  • Confused!! I-130 and I-485

Hey, I recenerly got married to my boyfriend (I am a UK citizen, trying to get a green card in America). I have been looking at the prices of all the forms I had to fill and I've got a bit lost. On the USCIS site you can apply for both forms, I-130 and I-485, concurrently, but it will not tell me the overall price of filling these forms.

From what I can see it is $420 for the I-130 and $1070 for the I-485. So this would make a total of $1490. Is this right?

I am so confused, basically what I am asking is... Does anyone know how much money I will need in total to apply for the green card?

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

    Thank you!

Make sure to apply for the I-131 so you can leave the country, and the I-765, so you can work. It's free when filing with the I-485

The EAD and Advance Parole are not free. They are included in the $1,070 Adjustment fee. Since you are paying for those benefits, they should be applied for.

When you get the Receipt Notice of Action, in the mail, for your I-485, submit your and I-131, each with copy of the I-485 receipt, copies of your I-94, visa, passport ID page.

Thank you so much Ray B. However, my I-94 out of day 3 months ago. Is it ok with that?

The I-94 is proof of your legal entry and a copy should all your application submittals.
