  • i-864 negative adjusted groos income because foreign income

    Hello,
I am confused about part 6 (Sponsor's Income and Employment) of the I-864.
My adjusted gross income for 2 years (2012&2013) tax returns was listed as negative. This is not because I didn't work at all, but because of foreign income exclusions (I live outside the US). i was self employment for the past three years.
Do I list the negative amount on the I-864? Or 0?

I also don't know what to write in item 5 at part 6, because i don't have an income, because i came to leave in u.s one month ago, i only have income form renting a house at u.s. is this income can be considered as current individual annal income?

    Thanks!

Check line 22 on tax returns. list whatever it says. Also you must find a joint sponsor soon...if its in negative put that number...

I'll use my assets and saving account, so i don't need joint sponsor.
What do you think i need to write on part 6 item 5? Because i just moved to U. S and i don't have income except the renting from my house. Do you think i can write my renting income?
      Thank you for your help!!

And regarding to your advice to check line 22, it's doesn't need to be line 37? Because in the form they ask Adjusted gross income (line 37).line 22 is a Total income.
