Good afternoon, I am wondering if there is anyone out there that may have a similar situation as the one with my wife's adjustment of status. We applied in October completed biometrics just before Thanksgiving, was told I needed to give further evidence as I had filled out the incorrect affidavit of support form. I had taken care of that and we were notified that we would hear something by March 3. Approximately a day or two prior to March 3 we received a letter from USCIS stating that my wife was being waived for the interview process however the letter stated the case can take up to 8 months. I feel as thought that is a long time considering I have been reading posts were many have been getting their approvals within six months.
