Hi all,
I self-applied in the EB2 NIW category and got my approval recently, now I'm trying to submit I485, but I got stuck at "Employment Letter" requirement.
In the "Supporting Evidence for I485" section on this page (http://www.uscis.govhttps://www.immi...-self-petition), which is specific for people who have Self-Applied, there is no Employment Letter listed (but no Birth Certificate either). However, in the instructions for I485, it says "9. Employment Letter. B. If your I485 is related to ... form 140" from "petitioning employer" and there's no exclusion for NIW in that section.
I'm confused because there's no petitioning employer - I self-applied. Also, I've found some results on the Internet from people who have received RFEs for this letter. Should I submit a letter from a future employer? I would like to avoid getting an RFE since that will delay my application.
Any help is appreciated!
