Hello,
I hope all of you're are doing well and I thank you in advance for any help you may provide me with.
I have been married to my wife for about 7 years and have two children. My wife was brought into the country undocumented at the age of 2, and is now 27. We have not petitioned for her because the last time we spoke to an attorney in 2010, she told us that my wife would be facing a 3 to 10 year bar if I petitioned for her. Now I hear that there may be a waiver we can apply for to avoid this bar.
I am asking for some guidance, I am not sure if we can file the I 130 and I 485 together, what other forms we need to provide and steps need to be taken, how the waiver works, and what dangers we face by going through this process. She has not criminal record and has never been ordered removed. Thank you for your help and time.
