job offer before 180 days??
Hi All,
My EB1b I-485 is pending for ~5 month now (I-140 was approved last year). I intend to change my job and employer (in the same field/similar job description) once I have completed 180 days post I-485 receipt using AC21 clause. I have 2 specific questions:
1. Can I get the new job offer letter from the prospective employer before 180 days (note that the intended joining date on this letter will be after the 180 days)?? OR do I have to wait for the 180 days to get over and then ask the prospective employer to send the job offer letter?
2. Can I start the H1b transfer with the prospective employer now OR shall I wait for 180 days to get over and then ask the prospective employer to initiate the H1b process?
I would appreciate your input.
