I received a rejection letter for my I-485 form I am really confuse because I sent the require documents need and the correct amount. I sent money order of 1070.00 dollars. Can you explain what I can do?

You must first identify why your package was rejected. That is usually indicated on one of the forms that USCIS includes.

Rejections are usually for any of the following reasons: something wrong with check (date, signature, amount); something wrong with signatures on forms (no signature); expired forms.

The reason was that, you sent incomplete fees, or the part of ur form is not completely filled or u didn't sign .you should have split the money order u sent . well, You can always resubmit any time. Good luck!!!

If you paid the entire fee on one money order, you should've sent two different amounts, the I-485 is to be separately, as with the I-130. If you were rejected the first time and you are clueless as to what went wrong, I would encourage you to seek help via a lawyer. You can go through the process again, if they cashed your money order - just resubmit the paperwork (make sure everything is filled out and specific documents are forwarded with the paperwork).
