You must first identify why your package was rejected. That is usually indicated on one of the forms that USCIS includes.
Rejections are usually for any of the following reasons: something wrong with check (date, signature, amount); something wrong with signatures on forms (no signature); expired forms.

If you paid the entire fee on one money order, you should've sent two different amounts, the I-485 is to be separately, as with the I-130. If you were rejected the first time and you are clueless as to what went wrong, I would encourage you to seek help via a lawyer. You can go through the process again, if they cashed your money order - just resubmit the paperwork (make sure everything is filled out and specific documents are forwarded with the paperwork).
