Hi, let me tell you about my case.

my wife and I sent all the docs for adjust of status on march 6th, received by march 10. then biometric on apr 11. we received the work permit on apr 21. since then ive been checking the website everyday. some time twice a day. today i checked in morning, none, and decided to check again tonight and the case said we mailed you a request for initial evidence on APRIL 20TH YOU NEED TO RESPOND BY MAY 20TH. as you can see we are already in june, i havent seen that notice before and not mail has come from uscis since i received the work permit. has anybody know about this. what can i do>? what exactly? why the mail has not come, or why they website was saying for a month that the case was ready to be schedule for an interview, when a request for evidence was already sent.?

Hi everyone.. I received my letter of initial evidence in the mail today stating i need to have a new joint sponsor and all....I had used my mum in law as a joint sponsor but the problem was, she was employed while she filed...
Right now, i have gotten a new member of the family to sponsor me.. But these are my concerned questions, and i would be happy if folks out here can help...
1. The new sponsor is a green card holder, filed tax ( together with his wife) and made way over the poverty line.. He made over $45,000 . Irs ordered him to pay $2000 back cos he made much more.
Q....can i go ahead and allow him be my new sponsor as regard the fact that hes a green card holder.. I dont know if he can sponsor me cos he hasnt got his 10 years green card yet...
Secondly, can he be my sponsor as regard the fact that he filed jointlt with his wife...
Thirdly, he made way over $45,000 causing him to pay back sone amount to IRS...
Pls folks, kindly address my issue as my clock is ticking already... I await your swift responses.. Thanks

It don't necessary has to be a family member, but anyone who is resident or citizen when u add up there household members they make above poverty guideline. u will need send proof of their status in the country such as copy of their green card or us birth certificate, us passport also send any supporting tax doc.

most likely company attorney will receive letter. It doesn't do anyone any good to reopen theses thread that are almost two years old. start a new thread
