Your Case is suspended,we need more initial Evidence.

Hello, in May 2 USCIS ACCEPTED the I-485 and today May 20 the status updates saying that "on May 20, 2015, we suspended processing of your case, because we need more information from you. Your notice explains what we need from you to resume work on your case. We will not take action on your case until we receive the evidence or the deadline to submit it expires.


I am a little worried because I don't know the reason why they need evidence. I actually used a lawyer who did the filling for me.I also had my Bio metrics yesterday( Friday 22nd,2015)..I would like anyone to share his/her experience in this manner.We are awaiting the letter to see what they need...

Nobody can give you constructive advice until you get your RFE letter.
It could be something as simple as requesting a missing document.

I got that notice same notice a couple weeks ago, and it was my tax return issue. They needed my W2 and to be on the safe side i also sent in Joint sponsor. As of yesterday my status changed to ready for interview. Best of luck!

Thank you for taking your time to respond..My W2?.I am not not eligible to work presently until my EAD is approved,I my wife is not working presently as well but i did used a Joint Sponsor's latest tax returns transcript but didnt include W-2 because i thought the transcript covers everything...finger crossed,patiently waiting to see what they requested....
