please help, 485 form, a number

Hi guys, please help me with this.

I am filling the 485 form, it said a number if any.

My situation is I was entered US on F1 visa, and when I applied OPT, I got the EAD card with the A number. But my EAD card was already expired. So do I need to put my a number still on the form?

Please help me, Thank you!!

our "A" number, also referred to as "registration number," needs to be used, even if the prior EAD has expired.

so i guess even when I got the green card, my a number doesn't change?

FWIW, sometimes "A" numbers are reissued with changes, but more often the same number previously assigned remains the same.
