I-485 filing

hi,

I found out that my 140 has been approved and since the date is current, eligible to apply for 485. Now does the filing of 485 go through the employer or can I communicate/connect with the attorney for the process/paperwork?

If you can get a copy of the approval letter, you can file for adjustment yourself.
