I was married and divorced in a foreign country. Will the foreign divorce be recognized here after I translate and notarize it or do I need to get it apostillise?

Normally, an apostille of a foreign civil document will be recognized by USCIS or NVC, so long as the original document meets all the requirements of that specific civil document for that country. For example, has proof of recording at local government agency, etc. For some countries, USCIS and NVC will only accept national archive or standardized secondary versions of most civil documents, i.e., NSO documents from Philippines; notarial certificates from mainland China.

Apostilles are not normally needed when submitting foreign civil documents to the NVC, though an Apostille does add an additional element of authenticity.
